SECURING A RESERVATION

For reservations of 8 or more a non-refundable £5 per person deposit is required to guarantee your booking, without a deposit the reservation will not be guaranteed. Please contact the restaurant directly to arrange the payment. The deposit will be redeemed off the final bill based on how many guests arrived.

Kindly notify us 72 hours* prior to your booking if there are any changes in numbers. In the event of booking cancellation deposits are non-refundable if 72 hours*(1) prior notice is not given.

*(1) When booking on a Saturday or special event day please ensure you book for the correct number of guests as you will still be charged the full buffet price on the day regardless of any no shows.

*(1) For booking cancellation of 30 guests or more we require 14 days’ notice in writing via email to contact@saphari.co.uk addressed to the restaurant manager stating your booking details. Without notice in writing via email your deposit is non-refundable.

We take payment upon arrival before starting your meals. We will present the bill at the table and take payment. Or at managements discretion.

All items will be presented on a single bill, unless you request otherwise, the head table is responsible for completing the payment in one transaction upon arrival.

Sharing is not permitted on our bottomless drinks or our buffet meals, if you are seen to be eating anything or sharing you will be charged per person at the menu price.

Please call us if you are running late. We have a grace period of 15 minutes. After this the book will be cancelled.

Reservations begin from the agreed reservation time the guest has booked and is regardless of the time of arrival. Please therefore ensure you arrive in plenty of time.

All reservations are booked for one hour & forty-five minutes, should your dining time exceed this or at particularly busy times, we may request you to vacate your table if required in busy hours.

Please check opening/closing times and prices online, a height policy is in place for child prices.

Any guest who shall not be dining with us but is seated within the restaurant has a duty to inform their server they shall not be dining as you will be charged the full buffet price if we are not informed.

There is a £10.00 charge to stay seated within the restaurant if you are not dining with us. Please respect each seat is a paying seat and could have been given to guests who want to dine. If you state, you are not dining but are seen eating any amount off someone else’s plate or your own plate/bowl you will be charged the full buffet price.

Strictly prohibited: party horns, party poppers of any kind, confetti, silly string, nails/pins, or sticky tape. There will be a charge of £30.00 applied to your bill for cleaning and damages.

Kindly present a copy of your bill if requested, management reserves full right to question any guest in the restaurant premises and car park area.

FOR CHRISTMAS DAY WE REQUIRE A £10.00 PER PERSON NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT FOR ANY BOOKING REGARDLESS OF SIZE. WITHOUT THIS DEPOSIT YOUR BOOKING IS NOT GUARANTEED. PLEASE CALL THE RESTAURANT TO PAY YOUR DEPOSIT. DEPOSITS FOR CHRISTMAS DAY AND DECEMBER BOOKINGS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

FOR SPECIAL EVENT DAYS i.e., NEW YEAR’S EVE/DAY, VALENTINES/MOTHERS/FATHER’S DAY, BANK HOLIDAYS, WE REQUIRE A £5.00 PER PERSON NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT FOR ANY BOOKING REGARDLESS OF SIZE. WITHOUT THIS DEPOSIT YOUR BOOKING IS NOT GUARANTEED. PLEASE CALL THE RESTAURANT TO PAY YOUR DEPOSIT.

PRIVATE DINING ROOM (PDR)

Our Private dining room is available for bookings subject to availability, for a maximum of one hour forty & five minutes with a minimum requirement of 25 full priced paying guests.

If less than 25 full priced guests, you will be charged for 25 full priced guests in addition to any infant or child buffets.

A deposit amount of £5 per person will be required to confirm your booking. Once deposits have been received only then are we able to guarantee your booking, if we do not receive a deposit for your booking, we reserve the right to cancel your booking at any time without notice.

If you require the PRD for longer than one hour & forty-five minutes, there is a charge of £100.00 per hour.

CHILD PRICES

Infants aged between 2 - 4 years old are £5.99 each.

Any child over the age of 4 but under 145cm in height will be charged child price. If the child is above 145cm they will be charged full price.

Please note there is a height guide in the restaurant to confirm that the child is entitled to the child rate, this will be at the manager’s decision whether he/she wishes to use this.

Proof of age will be required if child is seen to be older than age stated as duty manager will apply the buffet price to their discretion.

GENERAL

Please do not leave any belongings unattended at any given time, Saphari will not be held responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to your personal belongings.

Management do not take any responsibility or liability for any accident occurred with any unattended children during your visit to the restaurant, so kindly assist your children at all times during your visit to our restaurant.

We take every effort to ensure our floors are kept clean and free of spillages, however due to the self-serve nature of the restaurant we ask you to take extra care whilst walking throughout your visit as we cannot accept responsibility for others.

CCTV is in operation at all times, guests are required to wait whilst management checks footage for any disputes. If you do not wait you MUST pay your bill before leaving the premises.

Food and drinks items must only be consumed within the premises. You are not permitted to take any food or drinks outside of the restaurant building. If seen, an additional non-refundable charge will be applied to your bill at the manager’s discretion.

No personal food and drink items are to be brought inside the restaurant premises.

Management reserves the right to refuse the sale of alcoholic drinks to guests, who are already in high spirits.

Management has the right to refuse entry to any guests as this is a private property.

Saphari team is not responsible for cleaning bodily fluids, you must clean it yourself, parents must clean their child’s bodily fluids. A service charge of £30.00 will be required if you refuse.

We make every effort to have highchair availability for your visit however it is subject to demand.

ALLERGEN AND MENU INFORMATION

Our chefs prepare most of our dishes in-house which allows us to offer you a wide range of delicious dishes through a range of seasonal ingredients; therefore, please do not be deterred if you do not find one of your favourite dishes on the buffet on a particular day.

We serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.

Please be aware when our chefs are cooking, we use and handle nuts and other allergens in many of our dishes. Should you have any special dietary requirements, please inform a member of staff immediately who will direct you to a Senior Chef so he/she can explain our menu and upon request make a specific dish for you.

Car Park Area and Facilities

Car parking facilities are provided free of charge to our Saphari guests via a validation system (please inform a member of our Saphari team if you have used our car park, so they can validate your parking for free, this will be for a maximum of two hours and 15 minutes, if your time limit exceeds this you will be subject to a charge for additional time spent in our car park or will be issued a PCN if you do not comply).

Any vehicle left unattended overnight on the premises will be issued a PCN and may be clamped for which an appropriate fee will be payable to the third party for release.

Management will not take any responsibility or liability for any theft, loss or damage to your personal property in the car park area.

Please do not sit on or around the railway sleepers that are in the car park; they might lose tar and may spoil your clothes.

Management do not take any liability or responsibility for any damages and/or cleaning costs.

The car wash that is operational in the car park is a separate business and Saphari does not take any responsibility for any issues which may arise from when you use their services.

SMOKING AREA

Smoking is not permitted inside the restaurant premises under any circumstances.

All cigarette buds must be fully extinguished after you have finished smoking and disposed of in the smoking bin provided by the main entrance.

THREATENING BEHAVIOUR

At Saphari, we ensure we always follow a safe environment policy and protect the safety of all employees and guests.

Any inappropriate behaviour including but not limited to physical or violent threats or actions towards any employees, members of management or guests will not be tolerated, where necessary the police will be informed, and you will be removed from the building.

SPECIAL OCCASIONS, SEASONAL EVENTS AND BANK HOLIDAYS

If you choose to book your special occasion with us or visit Saphari when there is a seasonal event/bank holiday, please note we can only confirm bookings after a deposit has been paid regardless of your booking size.

Once deposits have been received only then are we able to guarantee your booking, if we do not receive a deposit for your booking within the required time frame, we reserve the right to cancel your booking at any time without notice.

SPECIAL OFFERS/PROMOTIONAL PRICES

From time to time we may advertise and publish promotional prices and/or special offers however, in the event of any unforeseen circumstance management reserves the right to alter, amend or foreclose these promotions without prior notice:

  • Such offers are always subject to availability.
  • Such offers will only apply on limited days.
  • We reserve the right to change our published rates at any time with or without notice.
  • At certain times of the year our standard rates may not be valid or be restricted.

Upon arrival, please ensure you advise the Saphari team if you have come into dine with us as part of a promotion, so we can confirm whether the promotion is still valid or has been withdrawn.

EARLY BOOKING OFFER

  • Valid for all confirmed deposited bookings of 8 or more paying guests for bookings booked between 10th November 2024 and 10th January 2025, excluding Christmas Day Bookings.
  • Bookings must be made online, quoting “Christmas EBO” in the “message to restaurant special request box” at the time of your online booking.
  • Full deposits must be paid via phone or in the restaurant in person by the 12th November 2024 to be eligible for the voucher.
  • Guests will receive a £15 voucher which can be used from 13th January 2025 – 24th March 2025, excluding Valentine’s Day 14th February 2025, Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Voucher cannot be redeemed against a drink purchase. Drinks may be purchased as part the order but the Voucher will only be redeemed against the buffet meals.
  • Voucher may only be used in a single transaction and no change will be given.
  • Minimum spend of £20 required.
  • Only one gift voucher will be accepted per transaction per booking.
  • The voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion, offer or loyalty cards.
  • Please keep proof of receipt to show you have dined between the dates (10th November 2024 and 10th January 2025, excluding Christmas Day) to be eligible for the £15 voucher. To redeem, make a booking online between 13th January 2025 – 24th March 2025 and quote “£15 Voucher” in the special request box. You must remember to present your previous dining receipt to the server at the time of payment. Without the receipt and 8 paying guests the voucher will be declined.
  • To redeem, please present your unique voucher code to your server at the time of payment.
  • Voucher has no cash value and is not transferable.
  • Offer only available to those who book online.
  • Online booking subject to availability. Book early to avoid disappointment.
  • We reserve the right to cancel, amend or withdraw this offer at any time.
  • Saphari cannot accept any liability or responsibility for replacement Vouchers should Vouchers be lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed.
  • The Manager’s decision is final.

NHS AND EMERGENCY SERVICES

We offer 15% off to NHS employees, Blue Light and Defence Privilege Cardholders comprising of the Police, Fire and Ambulance services. This offer entitles only the cardholder to receive 15% discount on a single buffet between Monday to Thursday. To redeem this offer, all you need to do is show a Photo/Work ID, Blue Light Card or Defence Privilege Card. All Terms and Conditions are listed below.

  • 15% discount valid Monday to Thursday (excluding special occasions, seasonal events, and bank holidays).
  • 15% discount is applied to a single buffet meal per cardholder once having presented a valid form of ID.
  • A valid ID must be shown at the point of purchase. We are unable to provide the difference back after a purchase.
  • One discount for each valid ID shown.
  • Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or loyalty scheme.
  • Saphari reserves the right to revoke this promotion at any time.
